Abseiling in the best locations within the Lake District National Park, Cumbria and Yorkshire including the mega 150 foot Abseil....
Abseiling is going down a rockface or any steep / vertical or overhanging surface using a descender under your own control. You will be kept safe with an expertly supervised safety line.
A Lake District Abseil can take place on friendly small sloping rocks for beginners and progress up to the massive 100 foot plus abseils down vertical cliffs and overhangs into free space (not for the feint hearted)
Abseiling can be a half day activity on its own or combined with a climbing day or another activity.
Why not try a combination of climbing and canoeing, or abseiling and ghyll scrambling.
the Adventuremakers do abseiling throughout the lake District National Park and Yorkshire often combing it with another activity however the classic 150 foot abseil at Cathederal Quarry if a favourite and very popular with Stag and Hen parties.
